  The ram might not advance on your Burndy Crimp tool due to several reasons: the battery may not be charged – in this case, charge the battery according to the battery charger instruction manual provided with your tool; the ram release trigger/valve may be held open – press and release the ram release trigger to reset the valve; the pump could be damaged or the activation trigger switch may have failed – in both of these cases, return the tool to the factory for repair.
