4. Operating the Appliance
Always operate the appliance on a rm level surface.
To light the appliance, hold a ame to the burner, turn the gas control knob (N) (Fig. 2) slowly in the direction of the “+” arrow
(anti-clockwise) until gas ignites.
After lighting, do not move the appliance around as liquid gas may enter the appliance from the gas cylinder, causing large yellow
ames.
Adjust the size of the ame by turning the control knob (N)(Fig. 2). To increase the size of the ame, turn the knob anti-clockwise
and to decrease turn the knob clockwise.
After use, always ensure that the control knob is turned to the “off” position (turn fully clockwise).
In the event of light-back (ignition inside the burner (A) or mixing tube), do not move the cylinder but simply turn the gas control
knob fully clockwise. Wait until all the ames are extinguished. Follow the safety instructions given in sections 2, 3 and 6. Re-light
the appliance.
