  If your Cadet Heater won't shut off, it could be due to: * **Heat loss:** If heat loss from the room is greater than the heater's capacity, close doors and windows, add insulation, or install a higher wattage heater (if your circuit can handle it). * **Defective thermostat:** Adjust the thermostat to its lowest setting and wait two minutes. If the heater continues to run and the room temperature is above 50°F, replace the thermostat. * **Incorrect wiring:** The thermostat might be wired incorrectly. Refer to the thermostat documentation and correct the wiring.

  If your Cadet Heater's fan is running but not producing warm air, consider the following: * **Insufficient element temperature:** Allow a few moments for the element to reach its operating temperature. * **Incorrect supply voltage:** Verify that the supply voltage matches the heater's rating. * **Failed element:** The heating element may need to be replaced. * **(Model CST only) Over temperature controls:** Reset the heater unit. CST models have two heating units with independent over-temperature controls. One of the high-temperature manual power reset controls may trip and cut power to one of the heating units, while the other remains running, resulting in only half output.

  Your Cadet Heater's breaker might be tripping immediately due to several reasons: * **Incorrect supply voltage:** Ensure the supply voltage matches the heater's rating. * **Overloaded circuit:** The total amperage of all heaters on the circuit shouldn't exceed 80% of the breaker's rating. Consider using a lower wattage heater or reducing the number of heaters on the circuit. * **Short circuit:** Inspect the supply and heater wiring for any damage to the insulation. Do not reset the breaker until all shorts are repaired. * **Defective circuit breaker:** The circuit breaker may need to be replaced.
