Resetting the service check
Reset the service check as follows:
1 Turn the remote control to position. The
engine must be switched off.
2 Keep the brake pedal depressed (cars
with diesel engine only).
3Select Settings using the steering
wheel buttons, or .
4 Hold the SET button depressed until a
chime sounds.
5Select Time for Service. Press the SET
button.
6Select Reset Service Check? Press
the SET button.
7 When asked Reset Service Check?
select YES.
8 End by pressing the SET button.
9 Release the brake pedal (cars with
diesel engine only).
Analogue clock
The analogue clock is set manually. It is not
linked to the clock in the radio display.
A brief press on the button beneath the
clock will move the minute indicator forward
one minute. Hold the button depressed for a
major adjustment. The clock cannot be
adjusted back in time.
INTERMEDIATE
The intermediate service, on the
other hand, is carried out
depending on the number of cold
starts and the climate conditions in
which the car is driven, for example.
This is why the interval for this type
of service varies.
MAIN & INTERMED.
A combined service is carried out
when the counters of both service
types are close to one another.
Time for Service
A message regarding Time for
Service must only be reset after a car-
ried out service.
