If your CAIRE FreeStyle Oxygen Equipment sounds a continuous alarm and the red alarm light is on, it means the device hasn't detected a breath for 15 minutes. Check the cannula connection, ensure the tubing isn't kinked, and make sure the cannula is correctly positioned so you are breathing through your nose. If you breathe through your mouth, your clinician might suggest using a chin strap.
