Connecting and Disconnecting from High Voltage
Turn the high voltage source off before connecting or disconnecting the
probe whenever possible.
Keep the Probe Clean
The probe body should be kept clean and free of any conductive
contamination.
Use Only in Of ce-Type Indoor Setting
The probe is designed to be used in of ce-type indoor environments of
Pollution Degree 2. Do not operate the probe:
z In the presence of noxious, corrosive, or flammable fumes,
gases, vapors, chemicals, or finely-divided particulates.
z In environments where there is a danger of any liquid being
spilled on the probe.
z In air temperatures exceeding the specified operating
temperatures.
z In atmospheric pressures outside the specified altitude limits
or where the surrounding gas is not air.
Measurements May Be Compromised
Measurements made by this probe may be outside speci cations if the
probe is used in non-of ce-type environments. Such environments may
include rapid temperature or humidity changes, sunlight, vibration and/
or mechanical shocks, acoustic noise, electrical noise, strong electric
elds, or strong magnetic  elds.
