Care And Cleaning Of The Refrigerator
Clean the inside of the fresh food and freezer
compartments
at least once a year. Unplug refrigerator
before cleaning. If this is not practical, wring excess
moisture out of sponge or cloth when cleaning
around switches, lights or controls.

The water filter is an option at extra cost and is
available from your dealer. Specify WR97X0214. It
has complete installation instructions and installs on
1/4" O.D. copper water line.
Water Filter Accessory
The door handles and trim
can be cleaned with a cloth
dampened with a solution of mild liquid dishwashing
detergent and water. Dry with a soft cloth. Don’t wax
handles or trim.
Keep the finish clean.
Wipe with a clean cloth, lightly
dampened mild liquid dishwashing detergent. Dry
and polish with a clean, soft cloth.
Do not
wipe the
refrigerator with a soiled dishwashing cloth or wet
towel. These will leave a residue that can damage the
paint.
Do not
use scouring pads, powdered cleaners,
bleach or cleaners containing bleach because these
products can scratch and weaken the paint finish.
The Following are Options for Cleaning Stainless
Steel:
1. Wipe the surface, along the grain of the metal, with
wet cloth using solution of soap and warm water.
Dry with a clean soft cloth.
2. Use Stainless Steel Magic or a similar product. It is
available from your parts dealer. Be sure to follow
the manufacturers instructions.
3. Use a thick paste or baking soda and water. Rub
with a soft cloth.
4. Use a non-detergent based cleaner (eg. Formula
409 Glass and Surface Cleaner).
Do not use steel wool, acids, abrasives, ammonia or a
commercial oven cleaner.
