Ve rify through clutch cover upper win-
dow if clutch cable and clutch release
cam are fully released.

Install CLUTCH ADJUSTMENT
WRENCH 11 MM (P/N 529 036 076)
provided in tool k it onto loc k nut.

1. Lock nut
Hold adjustment screw using a flat
screwdriver, then loosen lock nut
counterclockwise.

2. Clutch adjustment wrench
By using the screwdriver, gently turn
clutch adjuster screw c lockwise to lo-
cate the point of contact with release
bearing, then turn screw out (counter-
clockwise) 3/8 to 1/2 turn from contact
point.
Hold adjustment screw using the flat
screwdriver, then tighten lock nut
clockwiseusingtheclutchadjustment
wrench.
