Battery capacity of 700CCA / 100Ah
Starter Battery Cable Sizes…
The Starter Battery, should be positioned as close to the engine as is feasible, and
safe.
For all Canaline engines, where the TOTAL cable run, ie from Battery to the engine
and back does not exceed …
2.5m, use 25mm

cable.
3.5m, use 35mm
2
cable.
7.5m, use 70mm
2
cable.
Battery Cables which are too small will create excessive voltage drop and may
overheat and catch fire.
