Preparation Before Use
1. Prepare a nano sim card which compatible 2G GSM network, if a new SIM card, need
24 hours to activate properly; also need to set off the PIN code of the sim card
2. Open GPRS and Caller ID Display service of the sim card
Power on
Insert the nano sim card into the tracker's sim card slot (there is a missing angle alignment
for sim card and the slot ), power button is the black button next to sim card slot.
Power On: long press for 3 seconds
SOS: long press for 3 seconds in power on mode

The GF21 is a compact and versatile GPS anti-theft tracking locator designed for personal, company, and transportation fleet safety. It offers a range of features including real-time tracking, two-way communication, remote monitoring, and intelligent power saving, all accessible via a mobile client or computer service platform.

Function Description

The primary function of the GF21 is to provide real-time location tracking using a combination of WIFI, LBS (Location Based Service), and GPS technologies. This multi-mode positioning ensures accurate location data even in challenging environments. Beyond tracking, the device supports two-way calls with pre-set address book numbers, allowing users to communicate directly with the tracker. A highly sensitive microphone enables remote monitoring of surrounding sounds, providing an additional layer of security in emergency situations. Intelligent power saving features optimize battery life by managing GPS and data upload times. The device is managed through the "GPS365" application available on both Android and iOS, or via the web platform www.365gps.com.

Usage Features

Preparation Before Use:

  1. Obtain a nano SIM card compatible with a 2G GSM network. Ensure GPRS and Caller ID Display services are active. If it's a new SIM card, allow 24 hours for proper activation.
  2. Deactivate the PIN code of the SIM card.
  3. Insert the nano SIM card into the tracker's SIM card slot, aligning it with the missing angle.
  4. Long press the black power button (next to the SIM card slot) for 3 seconds to power on the device.

Power Control:

  • Power On: Long press for 3 seconds.
  • Power Off (with SIM card): Long press for 10 seconds.
  • Power Off (without SIM card): Long press for 3 seconds.
  • SOS Function: Long press for 3 seconds in power-on mode.

LED Indicators:

  • Red LED (Battery): Slow normal, fast low battery, bright on charging.
  • Yellow LED (GSM): Slow normal, fast search signal, bright no SIM.
  • Blue LED (GPS): Slow normal, fast search, bright get GPS no SIM.
    • Fast flashing indicates searching for a signal or low power.
    • Slow flashing indicates normal operation.
    • Always on indicates charging (Red), or no SIM/incorrect SIM insertion (Yellow).

Account Login:

  • Download the "GPS365" app or visit www.365gps.com.
  • Use the 15-digit IMEI number (found on a sticker with the device) as the Login ID.
  • The default password is "123456".

SMS Commands: The GF21 supports various SMS commands for remote control and configuration:

  • 000#number#number#number#: Bind three phone numbers.
  • 111: TF Card Voice Recording 10 minutes pause.
  • 222: TF Card Voice Recording 10 minutes pause, auto recording 10 minutes again if any voice.
  • 333: Voice-activated dial-back call to binding numbers.
  • 444: Delete all contents of memory.
  • 555: Turn off all features.
  • 666: Vibration alarm SMS to binding number.
  • 777: Vibration alarm call to binding numbers.
  • 888: Play the memory recording (requires a speaker).
  • 999: SMS Coordinate Positioning (returns a Google Maps link).
  • imei#: Inquire IMEI No.
  • pwrst: Restore default password.
  • 1122: Restore to factory settings.
  • time#minute: Set upload interval (1-120 minutes).
  • md#second: Set upload interval (10-60 seconds).
  • LED#on, LED#off: Open/Close LED.
  • APN#parameter#account#password#: APN settings.
  • sysrst: Remote Restart.
  • 6666#on#, 6666#off#: Vibration Alarm.
  • domain # IP # Port ID #: Modify IP address.
  • heartbeat#No.#: Heartbeat Packet Time (No. = seconds).

Voice Monitor:

  • Method 1 (APP): Use the "Dial Back" feature in the app to set your mobile phone number. The tracker will call your phone, and you can answer. Subsequent calls from your phone to the tracker will be answered automatically.
  • Method 2 (SMS): Send Monitor#your mobile number# to the SIM card number in the GPS tracker.

Voice Recorder:

  • Method 1 (APP): Click the blue icon in the app's "Voice" section to upload 15-second recordings.
  • Method 2 (TF Card via SMS): First, send 000#phone number to bind your phone number. Then use 111 for 10-minute recording pause, or 222 for voice-activated 10-minute recording (auto-records again if voice is detected). Send 555 to cancel.

Managing Multiple Devices: To manage multiple GF21 devices under one account:

  1. Click the top-left corner plus button in the app.
  2. Create a new Login ID (6-12 characters).
  3. Input the second device's IMEI and password to add it to the group.
  4. Log out and log back in using the newly created Login ID.
  5. Click the middle head icon to view all devices in the group.

Maintenance Features

  • SIM Card Activation: If a new SIM card is used, allow 24 hours for proper activation to ensure GPRS service functions correctly.
  • PIN Code Deactivation: Always ensure the SIM card's PIN code is deactivated before insertion. If the yellow LED is blinking fast and the PIN code is off, it might indicate an APN setting problem.
  • APN Settings: If the yellow LED blinks fast despite the PIN code being off, the APN settings might be incorrect. Use the SMS command APN#parameter#account#password# to configure the APN for your specific SIM operator.
  • Troubleshooting Yellow LED Always On: If the yellow LED is always bright, it typically means the SIM card is not inserted correctly or tightly, or it's not a 2G GSM compatible SIM. Re-insert the SIM or try a different 2G SIM card.
  • "Offline" Status / Chinese Address Display: If the device shows "Offline" or a Chinese address in the app, it usually means the device is working correctly and was tested by the company. Ensure the SIM card is properly inserted, supports 2G GSM, and has GPRS service.
  • Factory Reset: The 1122 SMS command can be used to restore the device to factory settings, which can help resolve persistent issues.
  • Remote Restart: The sysrst SMS command allows for a remote restart of the device, useful for troubleshooting without physical access.
