  • Do not overload the dishwasher.
  • Sharp items like knives should be placed with points down or horizontally in the cutlery basket.
  • The cutlery basket is designed to hold forks, soup spoons, dessert spoons, teaspoons, knives, serving spoons, gravy ladles, and serving forks.

Maintenance Features:

  • Salt Refill: The salt container is located beneath the basket. Use only dishwasher-specific salt. Refill when the salt warning light comes on. After refilling, run a rapid program to prevent corrosion from spilled salt. Salt consumption can be adjusted based on water hardness levels (6 levels available).
  • Rinse Aid Refill: The rinse aid dispenser is located inside the door. Refill when the rinse aid warning light illuminates. The dispenser has adjustable settings (1-6) to control the amount of rinse aid dispensed, with "4" being the recommended setting.
  • Detergent Dispenser: Refill before each wash cycle. The dispenser has compartments for main wash and pre-wash detergent. Use only detergents specifically made for dishwashers.
  • Filtering System: Consists of a coarse filter, a flat (main) filter, and a micro (fine) filter. The filter assembly should be cleaned regularly (at least once a week) by contrarotating and lifting it out, then separating the components for cleaning under running water.
  • Spray Arms: Can be removed for periodic cleaning of nozzles to prevent clogging.
  • Caring for the Dishwasher:
    • After every wash, turn off the water supply and leave the door slightly open to prevent moisture and odors.
    • Remove the plug before cleaning or maintenance.
    • Clean the control panel and exterior with a lightly dampened cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners or sharp objects.
    • Clean the door edges with a soft, damp cloth; avoid spray cleaners near electrical components.
    • For long periods of disuse, run an empty wash cycle, remove the plug, turn off water, and leave the door ajar.
    • Periodically clean door seals with a damp sponge to prevent odors.
  • Frost Protection: In winter, cut off electrical power, turn off and disconnect the water inlet pipe, drain water from the inlet pipe and valve, and remove the filter at the bottom of the tub to soak up residual water.

Troubleshooting Tips:

The manual provides a comprehensive troubleshooting guide for common issues such as:

  • Dishwasher not starting (blown fuse, power supply off, door not closed).
  • Water not pumped from dishwasher (kinked drain hose, clogged filter, clogged kitchen sink).
  • Suds in the tub (improper detergent, spilled rinse-aid).
  • Stained tub interior (detergent with colorant, hard water minerals).
  • Rust stains on cutlery (non-corrosion resistant items, salt spills).
  • Knocking/rattling noise (spray arm obstruction, insecure crockery, water pipe issues).
  • Dishes not clean (improper loading, insufficient program power, not enough detergent, blocked spray arms, dirty filters).
  • Cloudiness on glassware (soft water with too much detergent).
  • Black/gray marks on dishes (aluminum rubbing).
  • Detergent left in dispenser (dishes blocking dispenser).
  • Dishes not drying (improper loading, too little rinse aid, removed too soon, wrong program, low-quality coating).

Error Codes:

The dishwasher displays error codes for malfunctions:

  • Rapid light flicker fleetly: Longer inlet time (faucet closed, restricted water intake, low water pressure).
  • Glass light flicker fleetly: Overflow (dishwasher leak).
  • ECO, Glass, and Rapid light flicker fleetly: Failure of communication between main PCB and display PCB (open circuit or broken wiring).

In case of overflow, turn off the main water supply and remove any water from the base pan before restarting.
