  The swishing or gurgling noise you hear in your Candy Air Conditioner is the sound of refrigerant flowing through the system. This is most noticeable in the first 2-3 minutes after the unit starts. A cracking noise comes from the casing expanding or shrinking due to temperature changes. However, a big noise from airflow indicates that the air filter might be too dirty.
