Avoid looking at the sun or bright light sources through the lens to prevent vision loss. Direct sun exposure is especially hazardous.
Do not leave the lens under the sun without the cap attached to prevent concentrating sun's rays, which could cause a fire.
Prevent condensation by placing the lens in an airtight bag when moving between cold and warm environments.
Screw the hood adapter onto the lens filter thread, then attach the hood. It can be reverse-mounted for storage.
Attach one filter to the front thread. Screw onto the hood adapter if using the hood. Use a 52mm polarizing Canon filter.
