  The tally lamps may not illuminate because [Other Functions] > [Tally Lamp] > [Front] or [Rear] is not set to [On], so set [Other Functions] > [Tally Lamp] > [Front] or [Rear] to [On]. The battery pack may be exhausted, so replace or charge the battery pack. There may not be enough available space on both SD cards, so delete some clips to free some space or replace the SD card. A system error may have occurred, so turn off the camcorder and back on again. If this does not solve the problem, consult a Canon Service Center. The combined available space on both SD cards may be low, so replace the SD card.

  If abnormal images appear on the screen and the camcorder cannot record properly, while recording using an almost empty battery pack together with the compact power adapter, the compact power adapter may have been inadvertently disconnected or the power supply was suddenly interrupted. Reconnect the compact power adapter and turn the camcorder off and then on again or replace the battery pack with a fully charged one.

  If your optional RC-V100 Remote Controller or commercially available remote control is not working, make sure that the [Other Settings] > [REMOTE Term.] setting is set to [RC-V100] when using the optional RC-V100 Remote Controller or [Standard] when using a commercially available remote control. When [Camera Setup] > [/ CINEMA Locked] is set to [On], a protected custom picture file is selected, or no custom picture is selected, custom picture settings cannot be adjusted using the RC-V100, so set [/ CINEMA Locked] to [Off] or select an unprotected custom picture file ([C1] to [C6]). Turn off the camcorder, reconnect the RC-V100 or other remote control and then turn the camcorder back on again.
