Connect Power Adapter

Connect the power cord to the AC adapter and the DC plug to the printer.

Turn Printer On for Initialization

Lift the paper rest and turn the printer on to begin initialization.

Install Print Head and Ink Tanks

Handle Print Head

Remove print head from package, turn it over, and remove the protective cap.

Install Ink Tanks

Insert the black and color ink tanks into their respective slots.

Connect to Computer and Install Drivers

Connect USB Cable

Connect the USB cable to the computer and the printer.

Install Printer Driver (Windows)

Install the printer driver for Windows, following on-screen prompts.

Install Printer Driver (Macintosh)

Install the printer driver for Macintosh, following on-screen prompts.

Align Print Head

Start Print Head Alignment

Begin the print head alignment procedure via printer preferences.
