1. Turn the crank (Q) counter-clockwise to close umbrella.

2. When the umbrella is closed, fully loosen the knob on the handle by

turning it counter-clockwise. Hold the handle and pull the long bent

tube downward.

3. Tighten the knob on the handle by turning clockwise after closing

the umbrella.

Step 19

Tie the umbrella to the umbrella pole with the strap when not in use as shown below.
