Function Description
The Caple WDI2206 is a washer dryer designed for household and similar applications, including staff kitchen areas, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and bed and breakfast environments. It offers a range of washing and drying programs to cater to various fabric types and soiling levels.
Washing Functions:
The appliance features a program selector with an "OFF" position, allowing users to choose from a variety of wash cycles. Key washing programs include:
- Resistant fabrics (Cotton, linen, mixed resistant): Programs for whites (90°C), whites with prewash (60°C + Pre), fast coloureds (60°C), non-fast coloureds (40°C), and delicates (30°C). Maximum load capacity for these programs is 7 kg.
- Mixed fabrics and synthetics: Programs for fast coloureds with prewash (60°C + Pre), fast coloureds (60°C), synthetics (50°C), and non-fast coloureds (40°C). Maximum load capacity for these programs is 3.5 kg.
- Very delicate fabrics: Programs for delicates (40°C), "Machine Washable" woollens (40°C), and hand wash (30°C). Load capacities range from 1.5 kg to 2 kg.
- Special programs:
- Rapid 30 minutes (30'): A quick wash for up to 2 kg of laundry at 30°C.
- Resistant Fabrics A 59' (A 59'): A high-quality wash for up to 3 kg at 60°C, with reduced wash time.
- Resistant Fabrics 40°C AA (40°C AA): An energy-saving program for up to 7 kg at 40°C, offering similar performance to a 60°C Cotton program.

Drying Functions:
The washer dryer offers both automatic and timed drying cycles.
- Automatic Drying: Users can select the desired degree of dryness:
- Extra Dry ():* For bath towels and bathrobes.
- Cupboard Dry (2): For items that will be put away without ironing.
- Iron Dry (2): Leaves laundry suitable for ironing.
- Timed Drying: Allows users to set a specific drying duration.
- Drying Programs:
- Cotton - Drying ():* High temperature drying for cotton and linen items. Maximum load capacity is 5 kg.
- Mixed - Drying ():* Low temperature drying for synthetics and mixed fibres. Maximum load capacity is 3.5 kg.
- Cool Down Phase: The drum changes direction during the drying cycle to prevent tangling and minimize creasing. Cool air is used during the last ten minutes to reduce creasing.

- Delay Start: Allows delaying the start of a program by 3, 6, or 9 hours.
- Spin Selection: Users can reduce or cancel the spin speed to protect delicate fabrics. The machine automatically prevents unbalanced loads during spinning.

- Auto Half Load: The machine automatically adjusts water levels based on the load size, reducing water and electricity consumption without compromising wash performance.
- Door Security Indicator Light: Illuminates when the door is closed and the machine is on, and goes out when the door lock is released after a cycle.
- Time To End Indicator Light: Provides estimated remaining cycle time (90, 60, 30, 15 minutes, and STOP).
Important Usage Notes:
- Only a maximum of 5 kg of dry laundry can be loaded for satisfactory drying.
- Dispensers for concentrated powders and liquid detergents must be removed from the drum before tumble drying programs.
- Never open the door during the drying cycle until the cool down period is complete.
- Do not dry garments made from foam rubber or flammable materials.
- Only use detergents suitable for washing machines.
- Sort laundry by fabric type, soiling degree, and wash temperature.
- Check for metal objects in laundry before washing.
- Button up pillowcases, fasten zips, and remove curtain hooks.
- New coloured items should be washed separately initially to prevent colour bleeding.
- Do not do a full load of towelling items only, as they absorb a lot of water and become very heavy.

Maintenance Features
- Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe with a damp cloth; do not use alcohol-based scourers or thinners.

- Cleaning the Filter: Recommended at least once a month.
- Place an absorbent towel below the filter cap.

- Clean and replace by turning clockwise.

- Remove all remaining water from hoses by unclipping and pointing downwards into a basin.

- Do not lift by controls or detergent drawer.
- Do not rest the door against a trolley or transport without the polystyrene base.
