Radio display details
Showing informations on the radio display requires an RDS-enabled radio set. Dierent radios will have a dierent
behavior and the information is displayed delayed. Some devices have a an option to set the RDS function to fixed or
variable. If possible choose variable.
The FM status light flashes when the internal FM transmitter works and the controller transmits on 88.1 MHz. Find the
radio station on your radio and save the frequency to a station button. The internal radio transmitter does not transmit
audio signal. When frequency ist set correctly, the radio is muted and there is also not any noise to hear. The internal
radio transmitter is switched o once the controller switches into standby mode.
If this frequency is occupied by a local radio station, press and hold button 3 and 4 simualtaneously for aprox. 2 seconds
to switch to the alternate frequency of 89.1 MHz. Now the FM status light flashes twice. Holding this two buttons will
switch between the two frequencies.
A short press to button 3 will swop between various information. Thus, the currently selected mode, the pressure inside
the exhaust system and the overall status can be displayed.
Setup by remote control key fob
The controller can be configured extensively. Some parameters can also be set with the RC key fob. To do this, ensure
that the radio can display RDS-information of the control unit (see above).
Press and hold buttons 1 and 2 simultaneously until SETUP appears in the radio‘s display. The key fob buttons now
have the following meaning:
You can set the following parameters: Cruise mode, sports mode, start-favorite, language and the type of exhaust sys-
tem. All buttons have to be pressed briefly.
Press button 2 to move to the first parameter. Cruise appears on the radio display. Press button 2 again to go to the next
parameter: Sport. Press button 4 to edit this parameter. The display shows 80 mbar. This is the pressure at which the
valves open during operation when sports mode is selected.
You can decrease the value with button 1 or increase the value with button 2. Once the desired value is displayed press
button 4 to confirm or button 3 to cancel the operation. The procedure is the same for Cruise mode.
Another parameter you can set is the favorite. This is the mode in which the control unit starts. You can decide between
cruise, sport and open mode.
The language is also adjustable. At current you can choose between English, German and Italian. The fih of the adjus-
table parameters is the type of exhaust system. It has to match the installed exhaust system (see multi sound).
OKAY appears in the radio‘s display for a few second, aer you exit the setup with button 3. Then the control unit re-
turns to normal operating mode.
Button 1 = backward/minus
Button 2 = forward/plus
Button 3 = Esc/back/abort
Button 4 = Enter/confirm/save
