DE-LEARNING A PENDANT
It may be necessary in some circumstance to uncouple or de-learn a
pendant from a Smart Dialler. To de-learn, place the function switch at
the rear of the dialler to ‘set, li up the phone connected to the dialler
and (press ‘talk’ if a cordless phone) then press star zero (* 0) and when
the letter “d” (for de-learning) appears on the LED display on the dialler
press star zero hash (*,0,#). You will hear a double beep. Test by pressing
the yellow button and if the dialler no longer responds to the pendant
yellow button, you have successfully de-learned the pendant.
Changing the Batteries cont:
2. To change the Wireless Pendant battery you will need a small Phillips head
screwdriver. This Wireless pendant is very delicate and so care should be
taken when changing this battery. As shown in Fig 1 diagram below, undo
the 4 screws and carefully change the 23 A 12 Volt battery ensuring that
the battery polarity is correct (+ve & -ve). Replace the cover correctly and
secure it with the screws. These Screws should be relatively tight without
using excessive force! But ensure the backing plate has pressed tight to
the seal.
3. After changing the rechargeable battery it is important that you test the
unit for correct function.
