This document describes the Carrier 30GX 082-358 and 30HXC 080-375 Screw Compressor Water-Cooled Liquid Chillers and Air-Cooled Liquid Chillers, providing installation, operation, and maintenance instructions. These units are designed for 50 Hz operation.
Function Description
The Carrier 30GX and 30HXC series are liquid chillers designed to provide cooling for various applications. The 30HXC units are water-cooled, while the 30GX units are air-cooled. They use screw compressors and are engineered for safe and reliable service within their specified application range. The units can operate in different modes, including standard cooling, high condensing temperature applications, and very low temperature evaporator applications, making them versatile for various climate and system requirements. Some 30HXC units can also be configured as heat pumps for heating/cooling control.
