What to do if Carrier Air Conditioner has poor cooling performance?

If your Carrier Air Conditioner isn't cooling well, first, ensure the temperature setting is lower than the room temperature. Check and clean the air filter and both indoor and outdoor unit heat exchangers if they're dirty. Make sure that air inlet or outlet of either unit isn't blocked. Also, close any open doors and windows. During sunny days, close curtains to reduce heat. Reduce the number of heat sources in the room, and if applicable, turn off the SILENCE function. Finally, check for refrigerant leaks and reseal if necessary, then add more refrigerant.
