(A) (When removing)
1. Pressouttheusedvalveguideusingavalveguidere-
placing tool.
(B) (When installing)
1. Clean a new valve guide and valve guide bore, then
apply oil to them.
2. Pressinanewvalveguideusingavalveguidereplac-
ing tool.
3. Ream the I.D. of the valve guide to the specified di-
mension (precisely).

2.3.1.f Valve Seating
1. Coat the valve face lightly with prussian blue and put
the valve on its seat to check the contact pattern
2. Ifthevalvedoes notseat allthe wayaroundthevalve
seat,orthecontactislessthan70%,correctthevalve
seating as outlined in paragraph 2.3.1.g.
3. If the valve contact does not comply with the refer-
encevalue, replacethevalve or correctthecontactof
valve seating.
