2.3.4.g Replacing Crankshaft Sleeve
1. Remove the crankshaft sleeve (3) using a special--
use puller set.
2. Set the sleeve guide (2) to the crankshaft (5).
3. Set the stopper (1) to the crankshaft (5) as shown in
the figure.
4. Heat thenewsleevetoatemperaturebetween150to
200°C(302to392°F),andfixthesleeveonthecrank-
shaft (5) as shown in the figure.
5. Press fit the sleeve using the auxiliary socket for
pushing (4).
NOTE
Install the sleeve with the largest chamfered
surface facing outward.
