HUMIDIFIERS
Humidifier
water

steam
supply
must
be
odor-free
and
uncontaminated.
Consideration
shall
be
taken
by
installer
as
to
corrosive
and
odor
effect
from
hard
or
contami-
nated
water.
Carrier
assumes
no
responsibility
for
problems
caused
by
inadequate
water
treatment.
General
It
is
recommended
that
a
strainer
be
installed
in
supply
line.
Steam
grid
humidifiers
require
a
drain
line
trap
with
a
water
seal
to
offset
unit
negative
static
pressure.
Trap
is
similar
to
that
shown
in
Fig.
19.
