Why is my Carson Specter Two Toy hard to control and glitching?

  If your Carson Toy is hard to control or “glitching”, there could be several reasons: * The air cleaner might be dirty. Wash it with soap and water, then apply air filter oil. * The carburettor might be loose. Check the carb-lock bolt and nut, press the carb onto the engine block, and tighten the nut to prevent air leaks. * The batteries might be dead or weak. Ensure the transmitter batteries are fully charged and replace receiver batteries if servos are slow. * The transmitter settings might be incorrect. Refer to the instructions on setting up your transmitter. * The transmitter antenna might not be extended. Pull it out to its full length. * Another R/C model using the same frequency might be nearby.

How to fix a Carson Specter Two Toy when the engine won't start?

  If your Carson Toy's engine won’t start, it might be due to: * Too much fuel in the engine. To fix this, remove the glow plug and pull the pull-start 6-8 times to clear the flooded engine. * A dead glow heater. Remove the glow plug and place it in the heater. If it doesn't glow orange, it may be dead. * A dead glow heater battery. Place a new glow plug in the heater. If it glows dimly or not at all, replace the heater battery.

  If your Carson Toy model doesn't move, make sure that: 1. The transmitter or chassis power switch is turned "ON". 2. The battery polarity and type are correct. 3. The batteries are not run down; if they are, replace them.
