2.2 INSTALLATION
To assist in the installation and operation of this press, an assembly drawing (including part numbers) is included in the
appendix of this manual.
2.3 SETTING UP
Through the opening in the rear of the press enclosure remove the solid plug from the oil fill hole in the jack,
using a 7/16) socket, replace this plug with the provided sintered breather.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT
operate the hydraulic unit with the solid shipping plug in the oil fill hole or damage to the
hydraulic unit may occur.
The CARVER Manual Pellet Press was carefully designed with a low center of gravity and an extended base to remain
stable under normal operating conditions.
