maryelementchangeorafterevery1000hoursofopera-
tion,whichevercomesrst.
Donotcleantheaircleanerinnersafetyelement(1).
Replacetheinnersafetyelementwhenitbecomespar-
tiallyclogged.Acloggedelementwillcauseanairre-
strictionresultinginalossofenginepowerorexcessive
blackexhaustsmoke.
NOTE:Conductavisualinspectionoftheinnersafetyele-
mentbyplacingalightinsidetheelement.Littleornolight
willshinethroughtheelementifitispartiallyclogged.
Toremovetheinnersafetyelement,pullitoutofthe
canisterbody.
Toinstallthenewelement,pushitintothecanisteruntil
seated.
NOTICE:Cleananydirtfromthecanisterbeforeinstalling
theinnersafetyelement.Checkelementinnerdiameter
sealsfordamageandreplacethesafetyelementifseal
damageispresent.
NOTICE:Failuretoobtainagoodsealbetweenthelter
andcanistermaycausemajorenginedamage.
