4. Remove the wiper seal, 1, back up washer and
O ring, 2, from the cylinder.

Slave Cylinder Assembly
1. Install a new snap ring, 1, onto the rod in the
deepest groove. Remove any sharp edges that
could cut the seals during assembly.

2. Set the back up washer, 1, O ring, 2, and wiper
seal, 3, into the cylinder barrel. The wiper seal
must be installed with the lip facing out.
3. Coat the seal and O ring with petroleum jelly and
install the rod into the cylinder barrel.
