4. Match mark the lower cylinder mount, 1, so that
it may be returned to its original position during
assembly. Turn the adjusting bolt, 2, until the
clevis pin, 3, is lined up with the opening, 4, in the
inside shield of the head.
5. Take out the cotter pin and withdraw the clevis pin
from the lower cylinder mount toward the inside
of the head. Lift the cylinder from the grain head.

Slave Cylinder Disassembly
1. Remove the fitting from the base end of the
cylinder.
2. Locate the snap ring through the fitting hole and
move it into the deeper groove using a
screwdriver.

3. Moving the snap ring, 1, into the deeper groove
will permit the piston rod to be pulled out of the
cylinder barrel.
NOTE: If this does not allow the rod to be pulled out,
move the snap ring off the end and then attempt to
withdraw the piston rod from the barrel.
