WOBBLE BOX REMOVAL
WARNING
If the head is still attached to the combine, be
sure the engine is shut off, and the header is
resting on the ground, or the cylinder stops are
engaged before making any repairs.
NOTE: Single and double knife arrangements are
similar.
1. Raise the head reel and engage the cylinder
stops. Lower the real onto the stops.
2. Open the door to access the affected wobble
box. Remove the guard if installed.
3. Remove the drive belt, 1, from the wobble box
sheave by loosening the idler pulley, 2.
4. Remove the two wobble mounting bracket cap
screws, 3.

5. Remove the cotter pin and castellated nut at 1,
from the knife head bolt.
