Donotweld,grindorsmokenearabattery.
Batteryelectrolytecausessevereburns.Thebatterycon-
tainssulphuricacid.Avoidanycontactwiththeskin,eyes
orclothing.

Treatment:
EXTERNAL:Rinsewellwithwater,removinganysoiled
clothing.
INTERNAL:Avoidvomiting.Drinkwatertorinseyour
mouth.Consultadoctor.
EYES:Rinseabundantlywithwaterfor15minandcon-
sultadoctor.
Whentheelectrolyteofabatteryisfrozen,itcanex-
plodeifyouattempttochargethebatteryorifyoutryto
starttheengineusingaboosterbattery.Alwayskeep
thebatterychargedtopreventtheelectrolytefreezing.
Providegoodventilationwhenchangingabatteryorusing
abatteryinanenclosedspace.Alwaysprotectyoureyes
whenworkingnearabattery.

Neversettoolsdownonthebattery.Theymayinduce
ashortcircuit,causingirreparabledamagetothebattery
andinjuringpersons.
Neverwearmetalnecklaces,braceletsorwatchstraps
