Basicinstructions-Precautionfordisassemblyandassembly
Preparationsfordisassembly
Thoroughlywashthemachinebeforebringingitintotheshop.Bringingadirtymachineintotheshopmaycause
machinecomponentstobecontaminatedduringdisassembling/assembling,resultingindamagetomachinecom-
ponents,aswellasdecreasedefciencyinservicework.
Besuretothoroughlyunderstandalldisassembling/assemblingproceduresbeforehand,tohelpavoidincorrect
disassemblingofcomponentsaswellaspersonalinjury.
Checkandrecordtheitemslistedbelowtopreventproblemsfromoccurringinthefuture.
1.Themachinemodel,machineserialnumber,andhourmeterreading.
2.Reasonfordisassembly(symptoms,failedparts,andcauses).
3.Cloggingofltersandoil,waterorairleaks,ifany.
4.Capacitiesandconditionoflubricants.
5.Looseordamagedparts.
Preparethenecessarytoolstobeusedandtheareafordisassemblingwork.
Wearappropriateclothing,safetyshoes,safetyhelmet,goggles,andclotheswithlongsleeves.
Conrmreadyaccesstoarst-aidkitandreextinguisher,aswellasappropriateemergencypersonnelcontacts
inthecaseofamedicalaccidentorre.
Beforeperforminganyworkonthemachine,followlockout/tagoutproceduresbyattachinga“maintenancein
progresstag”.Thistagcanbeappliedontheleft-handcontrollever,safetyleverorcabdoor.Notifythosewith
accesstothemachinethatyouwillbeperformingthemaintenance.
Disassemblingandassemblinghydraulicequipment
Beforeremovinglines,releasethepressureofhydraulicoiltank,oropenthecoveronthereturnsidetotank,and
takeoutthelter.
Draintheoilinremovedlinesintoanappropriatecontainertopreventoilcontamination.
Protectopenconnectionswithplugsorcapstopreventoilfromleakinganddebrisfromcontaminatingthesystem.
Thoroughlycleantheoutsideofcomponentsbeforedisassembling,anddrainhydraulicoilandgearoilbeforedis-
assembly.
Disassemblinghydraulicequipment
Impairedperformanceandfunctionofhydraulicequipmentafterunauthorizedservicemaynotbecoveredunder
warrantybythemanufacturer.Consultyourlocaldealerforservice.
Ifitisunavoidablynecessarytodisassembleandmodify,itshouldbecarriedoutbyexpertsorpersonnelqualied
throughservicetraining.
Makematchmarkonpartsforreassembling.
Beforedisassembling,readinstructionsinadvance,anddetermineiftheserviceisrequiredtobeperformedbyan
authorizeddealer.
Useappropriatespecialtytoolsandjigsifrequired.
Ifpartscannotberemovedasspeciedbytheprocedure,neverforceremoval.Checkforotherfailuresthatmay
becausingbindingorinterference.
Inspectpartsforwearandclearance;recordthemeasuredvalues.Replacecomponentsifthevaluesfalloutside
oftherecommendedrange.
Ifanabnormalityisdetected,repairorreplacetheparts.
Whenremovingparts,useappropriatemarkingsorlabelstoensurethycanbereinstalledinthecorrectorderand
locationwithoutconfusion.
Forcommonparts,payattentiontothequantityandlocationsofeachgroupofcomponents.
