STEP 168
Check the tension on the belt with a tension gauge. The
tension for a new belt is 100 pounds (45 kg). The
tension for a used belt is 90 pounds (
41
kg).
STEP 169
Install the bolts, lock washers, and nuts that fasten the
clamps for the compressor hoses and the wire harness
to the bracket on the engine. Tighten the nuts.
STEP 170
If the machine
is
equipped with ether injection, connect
the tube fitting to the intake manifold.

the connector for the temperature switch.
STEP 172
Install new tie straps to fasten the wire harness to the
compressor hose.
STEP 173
Connect the connectors for the compressor.
