4. Play the song on the keyboard.
e Anything you play using one or two keys at the same time is considered to be
part of the melody, and so the corresponding notes sound as you play them.
e Anything you play using three or more keys at the same time is considered to
be part of the accompaniment, and so the matching chord (using the same
fingerings as FINGERED) is played.
<Example> To play the chord C major
Any of the fingerings shown in the illustration below will produce C major.

e As with the FINGERED mode (page E-29), you can play the notes that forma
chord in any combination.
¢ When the composite notes of a chord are separated by five or more notes, the
lowest sound becomes the bass sound.

To play a FULL RANGE CHORD 2 with auto-accompaniment:
Chords can be played in the two ways indicated below.
¢ Chords are specified that are able to be determined this instrument (in the
same manner as FULL RANGE CHORD 1).
¢ When only one key is pressed or two keys are pressed at the same time on the
keyboard, the sound(s) of the key(s) that has been pressed will be used to
compose the accompaniment.
This accompaniment does not compose a chord, however.
1. Press one key or two keys at the same time on the keyboard.
2. The sound of the key(s) that has been pressed will be used to compose the
accompaniment.
