Data
passes
from
the
MIDI
OUT
terminal
of
the
sending
unit
to
the
MIDI
IN
CTK-530
terminal
of
the
receiving
unit.

What
is
a
MIDI
channel?
MIDI
channels
range
from
1
through
16,
and
you
can
think
of
them
as
being
similar
to
the
channels
on
your
television.
Just
as
your
TV
has
to
be
tuned
into
channel
3
to
receive
broadcasts
on
that
channel,
a
receiving
MIDI
device
cannot
receive
MIDI
channel
3
data
unless
it
is
set
properly
to
channel
3.

message

disappear

the

to
get

This
setting
is
used
to
determine
whether
or
not
chord
configuration
is
to
be
determined
by
this
instrument
based
on
data
received
from
the
MIDI
IN
terminal.
