Why is there no sound from my Casio CTK-900 Electronic Keyboard?

  Several factors could be at play. It might be a power issue, ensure the AC adapter is correctly attached, the batteries are correctly installed with the right polarity (+/–), and that they aren't depleted. Also, verify the keyboard is powered on and the main volume isn't set too low. If you're in CASIO CHORD or FINGERED mode, avoid playing in the accompaniment keyboard area. Check if Local Control is off, or if Mixer channel 1 is off or its volume is too low. To resolve this, turn on the power, increase the main volume, disable any accompaniment modes, turn on Local Control, and adjust Mixer channel 1 settings as needed.

  If the auto accompaniment isn't working on your Casio Electronic Keyboard, the accompaniment volume might be set to 000. Also, Auto Accompaniment part Channels 6 through 10 could be turned off, or their volume settings might be too low. To fix this, increase the accompaniment volume using the ACCOMP VOLUME button and use the Mixer to turn on channels 6 through 10 and raise their volume settings.

  If your Casio Electronic Keyboard starts up abnormally, it could be due to corrupted flash memory or the keyboard automatically resetting due to abnormal flash memory data. Try these steps: First, remove the batteries and disconnect the AC adapter, then press the POWER button. Next, reload the batteries or reconnect the AC adapter, and press the POWER button again. Then, use the TRANSPOSE/ FUNCTION button to perform a system reset. Wait approximately 40 seconds until the 'Pls Wait' message disappears. If the problem persists, contact an authorized CASIO Service Provider.
