3.5 Setup
3.5.1 Setup location requirements:
In order to ensure the safe and trouble-free operation of the device, the setup location
must fulfil the following prerequisites:
The device must be set up on a firm, flat and horizontal surface with sufficient load-
bearing capacity for the scale and the maximum weight of the food that should be
weighed.
Do not set up the device in a hot, wet or extremely damp environment or near
flammable material.
3.6 Rating plate
The rating plate with the performance data can be founded on the back of the device
4 Operation and Handling
This chapter provides you with important notices with regard to operating the device.
Observe the following notices to avoid dangers and damages:
4.1 Power supply
Turn the knob clockwise until you
see zero in the display then you
have fully charged the capacitor
using dynamo technology.

note
► Turn the knob only clockwise without any pressure, or the device could be damaged.
4.2 Weighing
Place the scale on a hard & flat surface. Turn the knob clockwise until you see zero in
the display.
Place the food on the scale surface and the weight of the food will appear on the display.
