Acoustic Type: Vented Box 2-way
Tweeter: The FL-30A features a 1x1" Scan-Speak Beryllium dome tweeter. This tweeter utilizes Beryllium diaphragm technology, which allows for sound transfer speeds up to 11,000 m/s. This significantly surpasses the speed of sound in normal materials, resulting in exceptionally clear, clean, and transparent high-frequency reproduction with minimal phase distortion and very low distortion. The large roll surround and AirCirc Motor system further contribute to its outstanding off-axis response and dynamic precision.
Mid-bass Driver: The system incorporates a 1x6.5" Scan-Speak Carbon paper cone mid-bass driver from the Revelator series. This mid-bass unit is engineered with Scan-Speak's patented Symmetrical Drive Motor Design, ensuring linear performance and reduced distortion. It features a Low Damping SBR Rubber Surround, a large Ferrite Magnet System, and low-loss linear suspension. The cone is constructed using sliced paper cone technology, where the slices are filled with damping glue.
