6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CLEANING:
Clean the vehicle with a soft cloth, water and soap if necessary.
After cleaning, dry thoroughly any metal parts subject to corrosion, oxidation, etc.
Do not use Alcohol, gasoline, kerosene or other corrosive or chemical solvents.
Do not clean the device with high-pressure water.
Make sure the charging cable has been pulled out and the rubber cover of the charging
port is tightly fastened, otherwise electric shock or serious failure may occur.
OVERALL MAINTENANCE :
Maintenance should always be performed by qualified personnel.
Always use spare parts provided by Cecotec.
Any type of reparation must be carried out with the vehicle on the stand and turned off.
If the scooter is not going to be used for a while, store it indoors in a dry and shady place.
Avoid long-term outdoor storage.
Sunshine exposure, overheating and overcooling will accelerate the appearance of
damage signs and will reduce the service life of the electric scooter and its battery.
BATTERY MAINTENANCE AND TREATMENT:
Do not use battery packs of other models or brands, otherwise there may be safety risks.
It is forbidden to touch the battery contacts and to dismantle or puncture the shell. Avoid
short circuit caused by metal contact with battery contacts.
Only the original charger can be used for charging, otherwise there is danger of fire.
After each use, please charge the battery before storing the electric vehicle, which is
conducive to prolonging the battery life.
Do not place the battery at temperatures above 50 ºC or below -20 ºC.
CHECKS TO BE CARRIED:
After a fall, check that the throttle push button/trigger operates correctly. To do so, try to
accelerate and decelerate a few times.
From time to time, check that the brakes operate properly. To do so, move the vehicle
pushing it manually and brake suddenly to ensure they respond.
Check all the parts of the vehicle are in place and securely assembled.
Check the wear of the tyres and their pressure.
Check the wear of the brakes and the throttle cables.
7. TROUBLESHOOTING
ERROR CAUSE SOLUTION
The engine does not work. The battery is not connected. Check the connectors.
The battery is low. Recharge the battery.
Electrical problem. Check all connectors.
The engine switches off during
use.
The break of the circuit is
tripped.
Release the throttle and
wait until it cools down.
After charging, the vehicle turns
off .
The battery is not fully
charged.
Recharge the battery.
The battery is frozen. Heat the battery.
The battery is old or does not
work properly.
Replace the battery.
The battery does not charge. Low battery. Replace the battery.
Broken battery charger. Replace the battery charger.
Other errors:
E1: Motor error
E2: Controller signal error
E3: Throttle error
E4: Controller MOS error
E5: Phase current error
E6: Average current error
E7: Battery voltage error
E8: Handle brake error
