3. OPERATION
1. Pour a maximum of 1.5 litres of oil into the fryer, making sure that the oil level is between
the maximum and minimum mark inside the pan.
2. Connect the appliance to a mains socket. The power light indicator will turn on blue.
3. Turn the temperature knob to the desired temperature.
4. Oil will reach the set temperature after about 10 minutes.
5. Shake o any ice crystals from the food and place the food into the basket. Place the
basket hook over the fryer making sure that the basket is suspended securely and is not
in contact with the oil. Add the food to be fried to the basket.
6. Carefully lower the basket into the oil.
7. Raise the basket handle and place it in a horizontal position.
8. Once the food has been fried, lift the basket using the basket handle until you can insert it
with the hook over the fryer and drain the food. Allow oil to drain.
Warning
As cold or frozen food is introduced in the fryer, oil will cool, causing the light indicator to turn
on blue again.
Tips
- Slice food thin and uniformly to ensure it cooks evenly.
- Dry the food with kitchen paper or a clean cloth before placing it in the oil to avoid splashing.
- Shake o excess coatings (such as breadcrumbs) before cooking.
- Shake o ice crystals before the frying process.
- Do not overll the basket or bowl.

Before using the fryer for the rst time, you must clean it by opening the lid and removing the
basket. Clean the inside of the lid, basket and bowl with a soft, damp sponge. Make sure that
all parts are dry before replacing them.
