SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance.
Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
1. This device is for personal use only and is not intended for
commercial purposes.
2. Do not operate this appliance if there are any visible signs of
damage. Always check for damage before each use and in
case of malfunction, contact the Technical Support Service
of Cecotec.
3. Keep the device away from heat sources.
4. Do not use the device outdoors.
Battery instructions
In case of contact with acid, rinse the aected areas with
abundant fresh water immediately and contact a doctor as soon
as possible.
Should a battery have leaked, do not allow your skin, eyes or
mucous membranes to come into contact with the battery
acid.
Make sure the battery contacts in the device are clean before
inserting batteries; if they are not, clean them.
Use only the battery type specied in the technical
specications.
Always replace all the batteries at the same time. Do not use
dierent types of batteries or of dierent capacities.
When replacing batteries, note the correct polarity (+/-).
Take the batteries out of the device when they are discharged
or when the scale is not going to be used in a long time.
Batteries must not be recharged or reactivated, dismantled,
thrown into re, immersed in uids or short-circuited.
Safety
If the scale is not going to be used for a long period of time,
remove the batteries to avoid damage to the product.
Keep batteries away from children and animals, they could be
deadly if swallowed. In case of ingestion, seek medical assistance
immediately.
Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries with dierent
compositions to avoid possible leakage.
Batteries must not be recharged or reactivated, dismantled,
thrown into re, immersed in uids or short-circuited.
Do not dispose of batteries together with household waste or
rubbish.
Follow battery recycling advices.
