Instructions for Use

Setting the Die Set

Select the appropriate die set for cutting contact wire or conductor.

Positioning the Conductor

Insert die set, position conductor, and close dies to clamp wire.

Performing the Cut

Press button to advance blade for clean, precise cutting of conductor.

Releasing the Dies

Press release button for ram retraction, open dies to release conductor.

Inserting the Die Set

Insert die set into tool, align locator, and secure with pin.

Battery Status and Handling

Battery Status Indicator

Displays residual energy level via LEDs after use or button release.

Battery Insertion and Replacement

Slide battery into seat until locked; press buttons to release.

Warning

Using the Battery Charger

Follow charger manual instructions; use adapter for 9.6V batteries.

Maintenance

Thorough Cleaning Procedure

Wipe tool daily with a clean cloth to remove dust and dirt.

Blade Replacement

Replace worn blades by removing split pin, replacing blade, and refitting pin.

Return to Cembre for Overhaul
