7. CLEANING

- Wipetheinternalsurfaceswithaclothmoistenedwithawarm
bakingsodasolution.Usearatioof2tablespoonsofbakingsoda

- Washthestoragebinwithamilddetergent.
- Keepthelidseals(rubbergaskets)cleanforefficientoperation.
- Cleanthehousingofthefreezerwithamilddetergentandwarm
water.
- Wipetheappliancedrywithasoftcloth.
- Cleanthecondenserheatexchangerusingavacuumcleanerifit
iscontaminatedwithdustordirt.
- Itisrecommendedtocleanthefreezerduringdefrosting.Thiswill
allowtopreventthedevelopmentofunpleasantodorsandmake
operationoftheappliancemoreefficient.
SUSPENDINGAPPLIANCEOPERATION
- Removethefrozenfoodsfromtheappliance.
- Disconnecttheappliancefrompowersupply.
- Performappliancecleaningasdescribedabove.
- Leavethelidslightlyopentopreventthepossibledevelopmentof
condensate,moldorunpleasantodors.
- Donotleavechildrenwithoutsupervision.Theapplianceshouldbe
keptoutofreachofchildren.
- Ifyouintendtosuspendoperationoftheapplianceforlessthan
threemonths,youmayleaveitconnectedtopowersupply.
TRANSPORTATION
- Theapplianceshouldbetransportedinitspackaginginanormal
uprightpositionbyanytypeofenclosedvehicle.Securelyfastenthe
appliancetopreventshocksanddisplacementinsidethevehicle.
- Itisnotallowedtotiltthefreezerbymorethan45°duringhan-
dlingoperations,asthiscancausedamagetothecompressorand
refrigerantsystem.
