4A.3 WHEEL LIFT TOWING PREPARATION
(a) Lower wheel lift boom to the horizontal position using the
WHEEL LIFT FOLD "UP-DOWN" Control, and then loosen “T”
handle and extend the outer crosstube until the tire restraint
retainers are beyond the outer sidewall of tires on the vehicle
to be towed. See Figure 4A.2.

(b) Lower wheel lift to ground and then raise until wheel lift just
clears ground level by use of the BOOM "UP-DOWN" Control.
