Rear gear case oil measurement
1. Place the vehicle on a level surface.
2. Remove the oil filler bolt

and check the oil level. The
level should be up to the brim of the hole. If the level is low,
add sufficient oil to raise it to the specified level.
3. Install the oil filler bolt and tighten it to 17 ft-lb. (25 N•m).
Rear gear case oil change
1. Place the vehicle on a level surface.
2. Place an oil pan under the gear case to collect the used oil
3. Remove the oil drain bolt

at the bottom of the gear case
and drain the oil.
4. Install the oil drain bolt and tighten it to 17 ft-lb. (25 N•m).
5. Add sufficient oil to raise the level up to the brim of the hole.
6. Install the oil filler bolt and tighten it to 17 ft-lb. (25 N•m).
7. Check if any oil leaks. In case of any leakage, please find
causes and solve it.
NOTE
Approximate rear gear case oil capacity: 8.4 oz. (250mL)
Be sure no foreign material enters into the rear gear case.
