Remove the oil fi lter

Apply a small amount of clean oil to the rubber seal ring of the
new oil fi lter.
Install the new oil fi lter.
CAUTION
Before mounting the oil fi lter, applying a thin layer of oil on the
seal ring prevents the fi lter from becoming stuck on the engine
case.
Clean the oil drain bolt and the area around the oil drain hole.
Place a new washer on the oil drain bolt, then reinstall it. Torque
the oil drain bolt to specifi cation.
Tightening torque: 25 N•m
