1.3.9 High pressure hazard
High pressure hazard
Prevent contact with high-pressure fluids. Oil leaks
can cause a high pressure fluid flo
w which can go
through skin. Use a piece of wood or cardboard to
find leaks not hands. Protect hands and body from
the high pressure fluids. If spray goes through skin,
get immediate medical aid.
Never heat by welding, soldering, or using a torch
near pressurized fluid lines and or other flammable
materials.
Let the machine to cool after stopping before
checking fluids. Use caution when removing
radiator caps, plugs, grease fittings, or pressure
taps.
Never open pressure lines under pressure. Release
all pressure before doing maintenance or repairs on
any pressurized system.

surfaces will cause dangerous burns. Do not touch
a component until the machine becomes cool.
