FIG. 2: This is the safety alert symbol. It means
ATTENTION! BECOME ALERT! SAFETY IS INVOLVED!
Look for it, both in this manual and on safety decals on
machine. It directs operator attention to information
involving operator safety and safety of others.
SIGNAL WORDS
FIG. 3: Words DANGER, WARNING or CAUTION are
used with safety alert symbol. Learn to recognize safety
alerts and follow recommended precautions and safe
practices.

DANGER: Indicates an imminently
hazardous situation that, if not avoided, will
result in DEATH OR VERY SERIOUS
INJURY.

WARNING: Indicates a potentially
hazardous situation that, if not avoided,
could result in DEATH OR SERIOUS
INJURY.
m
CAUTION: Indicates a potentially
hazardous situation that, if not avoided,
may result in MINOR INJURY.
