Excessive vibration in your Chaparral Boat can be attributed to several factors. It might be due to material obstructing the propeller, a bent propeller or shaft, excessive play in the shaft log, or a bent rudder. To address this, try reversing the engines to remove any material from the propeller, shaft, or rudder. If that doesn't work, stop the engines and manually cut or pull the material away. If the vibration persists, it could indicate a more serious issue, such as a worn shaft log, requiring a dealer's service. Also, avoid sudden torque changes.
