What to do if Char-Broil Fryer has flare-up?
    • K
      Kimberly CummingsAug 14, 2025
Flare-ups in your Char-Broil Fryer can occur due to grease buildup, excessive fat in the meat, or excessive cooking temperature. To resolve this, clean the burner and the inside of the fryer body. Trim fat from the meat before grilling. Also, adjust the cooking temperature accordingly by lowering it.

    Jeffrey JohnstonAug 17, 2025
Why is my Char-Broil Fryer cooking slower than expected?
    • S
      Susan AcostaAug 17, 2025
Several factors can cause your Char-Broil Fryer to cook slower than expected: * Vapor lock: Turn off the control knob and disconnect the coupling nut from the LP cylinder. Reconnect and retry. * Valve misalignment: Loosen the control panel and valve. Ensure the valve is centered in the burner, both top to bottom and left to right. Tighten all components once aligned. * High wind conditions: Relocate the appliance to a less windy area and use the top cover during cooking.

What to do if Char-Broil Fryer burner will not light using ignitor?
    • S
      sweeneyricardoAug 21, 2025
If the burner on your Char-Broil Fryer won't light using the ignitor, it could be due to a couple of reasons: * The rotary knob may be rotating without clicking: If this is the case, replace the knob. * There may be sparking between the ignitor and electrode: Inspect the wire insulation and ensure a proper connection. If the insulation is broken, replace the wire.

What to do if Char-Broil Fryer has sudden drop in gas flow or low flame?
    • P
      prattandrewAug 26, 2025
A sudden drop in gas flow or low flame in your Char-Broil Fryer can be caused by several issues: * Being out of gas: Check the LP cylinder to ensure it has gas. * The excess flow valve on the regulator tripped: Turn off the control knob, wait 30 seconds, and then light the appliance. If the flames remain low, turn off the knob and LP cylinder valve, disconnect the regulator, reconnect it, perform a leak test, turn on the LP cylinder valve, wait 30 seconds, and then light the appliance. * Vapor lock at the coupling nut/LP cylinder connection: Turn off the knob and LP cylinder valve, disconnect the coupling nut from the cylinder, reconnect it, and try again.

What to do if my Char-Broil Fryer flames blow out?
    • K
      Kayla RogersAug 29, 2025
If the flames on your Char-Broil Fryer are blowing out, it could be due to: * Low LP gas: Refill the LP cylinder. * Excess flow valve tripped: Refer to the troubleshooting steps for a sudden drop in gas flow.

What to do if Char-Broil Fryer has persistent grease fire?
    • K
      Kimberly RussellSep 1, 2025
If you experience a persistent grease fire in your Char-Broil Fryer, it's likely due to grease trapped by food buildup around the burner system. To address this, turn the knob to the OFF position and turn off the gas at the LP cylinder. Allow the fire to burn out. Once the fryer has cooled down, remove and clean all parts.
  • E
    Eric JordanSep 5, 2025
Why Char-Broil Fryer unable to fill LP cylinder?
    • C
      Cody WarrenSep 5, 2025
If you are unable to fill the LP cylinder for your Char-Broil Fryer, it may be because some dealers have older fill nozzles with worn threads. These worn nozzles might not have enough "bite" to engage the valve. Try a second LP dealer.

What causes Flashback (fire in burner) in Char-Broil Fryer?
    • K
      khanstevenSep 9, 2025
